In an effort to activate the role of libraries affiliated with the Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture and Science at the Royal Court Affairs in educating and positively engaging with the community, the center, represented by the Libraries Department and Sultan Qaboos Mosque Library in Sohar, organized a two-day training workshop titled
“Designing and Producing Videos” on September 23-24, as part of its annual plan.
The workshop targeted a group of 60 students from second-cycle schools in the North Al Batinah Governorate and was conducted in the Wilayats of Sohar and Al Suwaiq. It was presented by
Hanifa Al-Qassimiya, an Information Technology teacher. The instructor used the
Vidnoz platform, followed by discussions on other programs to enhance video design and production skills.
The workshop covered several key and engaging topics, including:
- An introduction to the importance of artificial intelligence in video design and production.
- An overview of the Vidnoz platform.
- A visual presentation of a video created using the platform.
- Demonstrating the platform’s capabilities and familiarizing students with its various tools for video design.
- A detailed explanation of how to creatively and comprehensively design and produce videos using the platform.
This initiative aimed to empower students with the technical and creative skills necessary for modern video production, highlighting the role of technology and AI in fostering innovation and creativity.
