Sultan Qaboos Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native SpeakersIn line with the requirements of modern time and global openness between nations; and a contribution in disseminating Arabic among non-native speakers, the institute was founded in 2012 in Wilayat of Manah in the Dakhlia Governorate in order to teach Arabic to non-native speakers.
The institute extends bridges of communication and consolidating ties with non-Arabic speaking nations. Further, it receives students from different countries around the world in five different courses per year, eight weeks each.
The institute offers high quality programs in an authentic linguistic and cultural environment through educational and cultural programs.
Because of the great interest of the Non-Native Speakers to learn Arabic, and due to the necessity to facilitate learning Arabic from anywhere around the world, the institute manages “Al Khalil Platform for Teaching Arabic”. It is a national platform introducing the Sultanate of Oman to others, and it contributes to the teaching of Arabic through provision of a number of significant software and applications that support learners and platform visitors.
